Welcome to the Cedar Valley Lions Club Home Page! "Children are our future . . ."   Member of District 19 H-3   We are a young, energetic, diverse club in Mission BC. Our members range from children to seniors, from all backgrounds with a common goal: to help people in our community realize their dreams and potential through donations through our fundraising activities.   Who we are The Cedar Valley Lions are men, women and families who have a desire to help their community. If you would like to join us or learn more about what we do: please contact us today: contact@cedarvalleylionsclub.com Our Work   Sponsored an orphanage in Sri Lanka for victims of the Tsunami Help young children participate in dance, sports, and music programs through our sponsored program with the Mission Leisure Centre. Helped raise money for a family in Mission to purchase a lift-equipped vehicle Organized a Christmas train for children at risk to visit Stanley Park at Christmas time. Sponsored a high school for Habitat for Humanity to build houses in Guatemala. Participate in a joint program with the Mission Elks club to put on the annual Easter Egg Hunt at Mission Heritage Park. One of five lions clubs in Canada to sponsor the School in a Box program.     Check out our Calendar page for upcoming events that you can participate in!   We raise the funds by holding garage sales, hot dog sales, auctions, golf tournaments, our annual Oktoberfest dinner and dance and Comedy Night.
